New House Pictures (FINALLY!)

Be prepared! There are a lot of pictures!!!
Jed and I were so excited to buy our first house. This process was very stressful especially since our house was being built, but we finally got everything done, signed, and funded! We moved in two weeks ago and we are loving being on our own again. My Parents were so nice to let us live in their basement rent free.. without them we never would have been able to do this. I have spent my nights trying to get my decorations and paintings up, but we are still working on that. We can't afford blinds at the moment, so I got some really pretty drapes that my darling mother in law is sewing for me... I will post pictures of those when they are up... So here are all the pictures!View when you first walk in the front door
My beautiful kitchen. Jed did ALL the cabinets in our house (the kitchen isn't quite done yet.. he still needs to put lighting in the upper cabinets and do the crown molding and a couple pieces of glass are missing)Dining room... I want to get a new table eventually so that we can have people over for dinner. My drapes are always shut because I don't want my neighbors always looking in my windowsIslandOur family room view #1 -- Jed also made that entertainment center for me... He made a huge coffee table to match as well, but it won't fit with the ottoman in there as well. He is so talented and I am love that I have a Husband that can make me pretty things!Family room View #2.. our couch takes up the whole room and I am still trying to decide what we are going to do with that huge two story wall... right now it is just blankOne of my favorite projects. Jed put these shelves up for me going up the stairs and I am going to put holiday decorations on themMaster BedroomOne of my favorite features, my big soaker tubSecond bathroom upstairs view #1second bathroom view #2view out my bedroom window

I haven't gotten the front bedrooms together yet, but we have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a 2 car garage. We plan on staying here for a while, and we are very excited to start a family here. We are right down the street from the new temple, and we can see angel "baroni" (my cute nephew Boston calls him angel Baroni... he loved going through the open house and seeing the temple) from our or bathroom window. I am excited to be so close to the temple and hopefully we can take advantage of our close location!

Hopefully you feel like you had a tour of the new house now. We had so many people help us move in and we are so grateful for all of them! So many people helped us move boxes and unpack and hang up clothes. Thank you so much to you guys! You know who you are!

so ADORABLE! I love it! Are you guys living by ochre mountain or the draper temple? I wasn't quite sure! Also, Does your husband do the cabinets for his job? If so, we might want a bid from him. I would love to replace ours! They are pretty retro! lol, Anyways, I love it and I am really happy for you!

How fun! I bet you are having a blast decorating it. Are you still planning on going private? Did you get my email alright?

By the way, I have noticed a serious lapse in your commenting fairness. Nema aka Elisse gets a comment from you everytime she posts. Me? maybe 1 in every 10 posts do I get graced by our comments. Do you just like her more? Are my posts just not interesting? Do you just not read my blog? Who knows. But just be aware, that I am aware. And I'm watching.

;-)
PS are you going private?
