This is late but I still want to remember what Zoey was like at 11 months before she turns ONE!

- is so close to walking. She crab crawls all over the couch and can stand on her own for a couple minutes. She took a few steps but is too scared to go farther. She gets really excited when we Try to have her walk and she usually face-plants because of momentum
- sleeping really well. She goes to bed at 8:30 and gets up around 7:00. Too early for me but at least she is in her own bed and is sleeping through the night
- takes a 2 hr nap in the morning and rarely takes a nap in the afternoon
- makes a ton of noises that sound like words. She is getting really good at copying me
- wants to feed herself but hasn't figured out how to use a spoon
- gives me loves- this is my FAVORITE! She puts her arms around my neck and just squeezes. She will also give me kisses. It melts my heart that she can show her love to me and Jed
- when I pick her up from the nanny she gets really excited and crawls to me really fast to be held. It makes my whole day!
- loves to watch movies with mommy. She has branched out from Rio and Despicable Me and she will now watch Up! , Tangled, and Toy Story 3. She will sit on the floor and watch a movie from start to finish and only move to pick up a different toy
- loves playing with other kids
- loves to pull everything out of our cabinets and entertainment center. We put pillows in front of the entertainment doors so now she will crawl over there and then just lay down for a couple minutes. It is so cute!
- says mama and dada
- her hair is getting long! The mullet is back!
- has 4 teeth- 3 on bottom and 1 on top

Watching UP!- this is now a daily occurrence. Thank heavens she has branched out to Toy Story 3 and Tangled recently

10 months (a little late

This adorable little bug is growing up too fast! Some things about Zoey at 10 months

-hates baby food. Will not touch the stuff. Wants to eat what mom
And dad are eating. She ate some of my moms Rosemary chicken pasta (so yummy!) and since then only wants gourmet food (or slices of wheat bread)
- doesn't like her sippy cup
- hates juice
-has started crying uncontrollably or no reason occasionally. I think she has learned some fun reactions from the little girl she spends all day with (thanks Erika! :)
- is really good at crawling and walking around holding on to furniture
-has stood by herself a
Couple times but falls down when she realizes she isn't holding on to anything
-is a Tasmanian devil! Gets into everything and is constantly hurting herself
-her hair is finally long enough for pigtails! (see picture above)
- gets really excited when I pick her up after work. Her reaction to seeing me makes my whole
Day
-loves playing with Erika and nanny kayla
- claps her hands and dances all the time even when music isn't on
-says da da , ma ma and something that sounds like baby
- sings in the car if it's a song she likes. She just makes sing-song noises . It's adorable
- feeds herself really well
- gives hugs and kisses to her friends (cousin kynlee, Paul, corver)

Elisses birthday dinner at my moms. I need to plug in my camera and get the rest of my pictures. We had our traditional hamburger soup, cheese rolls and cider dinner at my moms for Halloween and it was delicious like always!

California Day 5,6,7 Disneyland

Getting ready to walk to Disneyland- Wrigley Was so excited! She really wanted to see princesses and especially Tinker Bell

I was designated fastpass getter so the rest of the family went on storybook land while I went to go get a pass for another ride


Boston and the red queen from Alice in Wonderland- can you see the anxiety on his face? She wanted him to kiss her hand and he wouldn't do it so she stole his autograph book and pulled him around the park by his hood. She realized he was really upset so she stopped and gave him a hug and kisses. He was not happy - he mentioned later how much he didn't like the red queen. So funny!


It's a small world- Zoey was mesmerized until halfway through when I gave her a bottle and she was out like a light

I FINALLY convinced Jed to go on Splash with me and he loved it! He ended up going twice








We were relatively dry until
Michael decided to start a water fight with ben- unfortunately for me and Annie - we were in the line of fire and got drenched

Zoey wouldn't take a nap unless it was super loud- she fell asleep watching the Jedi training in tomorrow land

So sad to be leaving Disneyland. We actually were only
Going to spend 3 days at Disneyland but while we were waiting for world of color (which was amazing! It was a water/lights/music show in California adventure and I very much recommend seeing it) jed needed to go to the bathroom
And they closed the closest one! Who does that- so he decided to use it anyway and got tackled/shoved into a corner by a "cast member ". He complained to management and they gave us a free hopper pass for the following day for all 12 people in our family! They also gave him 5 passes to get to the front of the line for any ride! It was awesome- so our last day in California which was supposed to be a beach day ended up being our 4th Disney day

This picture is hilarious! Joannes face is priceless- I don't think she knew what she was getting into. I'm covering my eyes because I was getting sick by that time and I knew the flash was coming and didn't want to see flashes the rest of the day

Baby Winnie the Pooh Joanne bought her- she loves it!


We decided to break up the drive on the way home and stayed in mesquite for the night. Unfortunately the pool was
Closed so Zoey didnt get to use her new swimsuit. The hotel was nicer than the hotel we staying at in Cali- our hotel was nasty and our tub was dirty and had hair in it (not mine) But we were hardly there so it was fine. It was a fun vacation and I'm sad it's over! Back to the real world now...
