Yesterday Jed and I finally got our first Christmas Tree! I have been looking forward to this for months and ornaments and ribbon have been piling up in my spare bedroom because I have recently learned that I have a Christmas addiction. I love christmas ornaments and decorations! We went to a lot by our house and got this tree (it isn't perfect, but it was cheaper and I think it has character) and then Jed helped me string up the lights and put the ornaments on while we watched Elf (one of my favorite Christmas movies). Jed thinks I had too many ornaments, but I like it! It was a lot of fun and hopefully it will continue as a tradition to put up out tree together every year.

Yay! Such a cute Christmas tree. I love it! and I am totally obsessed with Christmas too... if I had oodles of money - watch out! My house would be like a Christmas Craft store! ;-) Someday...

Well, I personally feel that there aren't enough do-dads and hum-drums on your tree! There is no such thing as too much! I got a lot of ornamenty stuff for my wedding, so my tree looks a bit like Ikea and Tai Pan threw up all over it. But kitty loves attacking it every time the air comes on, and sleeping under the twinklie lights. Hey, I have an extra box of green and gold ornaments I bought before I put up the tree- you want? Bargain low price of $5! (They are from tai pan last year.)

I thought from the post that you wouldn't see green of the tree branches from the too many ornaments... You should have Erin come and help next time - she insists on an ornament for EVERY branch. You have none compared to ours when we finally get it put up will have. Merry FIRST Christmas together guys!! Love ya!
