California Day 5,6,7 Disneyland

Getting ready to walk to Disneyland- Wrigley Was so excited! She really wanted to see princesses and especially Tinker Bell

Amy had the perfect pouch for Zoey to sit on

Dumbo

I don't do well with Spinning so Jed took Zoey on the teacups

Pineapple float- this is a Disneyland must. Very yummy

I was designated fastpass getter so the rest of the family went on storybook land while I went to go get a pass for another ride

Boston and the red queen from Alice in Wonderland- can you see the anxiety on his face? She wanted him to kiss her hand and he wouldn't do it so she stole his autograph book and pulled him around the park by his hood. She realized he was really upset so she stopped and gave him a hug and kisses. He was not happy - he mentioned later how much he didn't like the red queen. So funny!

It's a small world- Zoey was mesmerized until halfway through when I gave her a bottle and she was out like a light

Splash mountain- my favorite ride!

Family picture

In line for Alice in wonderland- Zoey loves Ben,Annie and Wrigley!

Mickeys house- the line to get a picture with Mickey was too long so we opted to take a picture with his house instead

Zoey and Grandma Jo in toon town

Toon Town play area

I heard the soup in a breadbowl was a must have and it was delicious!

Jed being silly

The poncho clan going on the water ride in California adventure- thanks to Amy for being prepared for all of us!

Ready for another fun filled day. It was super cold in the morning then it would warm up in the afternoon but get cold again once the sun went down

Photo op in adventureland

Giant Turkey legs

Jed- 1 Turkey-0

I FINALLY convinced Jed to go on Splash with me and he loved it! He ended up going twice

We were relatively dry until
Michael decided to start a water fight with ben- unfortunately for me and Annie - we were in the line of fire and got drenched

Zoey and Daddy

Zoey wouldn't take a nap unless it was super loud- she fell asleep watching the Jedi training in tomorrow land

Watching the parade with mommy and daddy . She loved dancing to the music and watching all the dancers

So sad to be leaving Disneyland. We actually were only
Going to spend 3 days at Disneyland but while we were waiting for world of color (which was amazing! It was a water/lights/music show in California adventure and I very much recommend seeing it) jed needed to go to the bathroom
And they closed the closest one! Who does that- so he decided to use it anyway and got tackled/shoved into a corner by a "cast member ". He complained to management and they gave us a free hopper pass for the following day for all 12 people in our family! They also gave him 5 passes to get to the front of the line for any ride! It was awesome- so our last day in California which was supposed to be a beach day ended up being our 4th Disney day

Cousins

This picture is hilarious! Joannes face is priceless- I don't think she knew what she was getting into. I'm covering my eyes because I was getting sick by that time and I knew the flash was coming and didn't want to see flashes the rest of the day

Ariel ride with Zoey- it was really
Cute and again Zoey loved it! She is definitely my child and loves rides

Heimlich the caterpillar ride in bugs life land. You could smell watermelon and animal crackers as the train took you by the foods the caterpillar ate

Dinner at rainforest cafe

There was a gorilla right by our table that would move and make noises every 10 minutes and when it did it Zoey was locked on! She didn't know if she should laugh or be scared

Such a good girl in her packnplay watching Rio while mommy and daddy get ready

Baby Winnie the Pooh Joanne bought her- she loves it!

We decided to break up the drive on the way home and stayed in mesquite for the night. Unfortunately the pool was
Closed so Zoey didnt get to use her new swimsuit. The hotel was nicer than the hotel we staying at in Cali- our hotel was nasty and our tub was dirty and had hair in it (not mine) But we were hardly there so it was fine. It was a fun vacation and I'm sad it's over! Back to the real world now...

California day 4- Hollywood

Ben and Annie drove down a couple days after we got there so we took a break from Disney and drove into LA to go see the Graumans Chinese Theater

Zoey in her usual sleeping pose- one arm above her head

Chinese Theater- I didn't get to do the tour but I hear it's pretty cool so that's on my list for next time

Zoey , Jed and Tom Hanks

Mommy and Buggy

Jeds hands and feet are the same size as Arnold

Marilyn Monroe's handprints

Had to take a picture next to the Harry Potter hand prints. We were going to drive to Rodeo Drive but we had a long afternoon and I didnt realize how close it was so we decided to head home. It took us 45 minutes to get there and an hour and a half to get back to the hotel- I HATE LA traffic!

That night we walked to downtown Disney and had dinner at Tortilla Joes

Jed and papa teaching Zoey how to throw a penny in the fountain- she didn't understand and didn't want to let go of the penny. Annie told me that wrigley said on the drive home "I wished I would see a princess at the fountain and it came true!" so cute :)

At dinner a man was walking around making balloon characters- Wrigley was so excited! He was really really talented....

Ariel and Wrigley

Buzz and Boston ( he even wrote ANDY on his foot- they don't miss details in Disneyland!)

Syd and Tinker Bell
