California day 4- Hollywood

Ben and Annie drove down a couple days after we got there so we took a break from Disney and drove into LA to go see the Graumans Chinese Theater

Had to take a picture next to the Harry Potter hand prints. We were going to drive to Rodeo Drive but we had a long afternoon and I didnt realize how close it was so we decided to head home. It took us 45 minutes to get there and an hour and a half to get back to the hotel- I HATE LA traffic!


That night we walked to downtown Disney and had dinner at Tortilla Joes


Jed and papa teaching Zoey how to throw a penny in the fountain- she didn't understand and didn't want to let go of the penny. Annie told me that wrigley said on the drive home "I wished I would see a princess at the fountain and it came true!" so cute :)


At dinner a man was walking around making balloon characters- Wrigley was so excited! He was really really talented....

Day 3 - First day at DISNEYLAND

Walking to Disneyland- we were all so excited! The first day it was hot all day long. I had
Planned on cooler weather so I was melting





Disneyland was decorated for Halloween- all the fall colors and pumpkins were so cute! First family photo at Disneyland

.... And pickles! Keeping the Bonan tradition alive. The giant pickles at Disney are my favorite and are apparently Zoey's favorite too- she got really mad when I took it away from her


Her new favorite toy- straws. She now loves straws almost more than water bottles. Too bad they are so hard to hold on too! She gets really excited and ends up throwing them after playing with it for a minute or two

Haunted mansion was decorated for the nightmare before Christmas so we had to get a picture in some Jack Skellington hats

Jed was terrified to go on Space mountain- his face in this picture says it all. He ended up loving it! It had ghosts in it for Halloween which made it even scarier than usual. After a long day we were ready for bed!

Day 2- Swap meet and Newport Beach

Amy had the great idea to go to the swap meet in orange county. It was a ton of fun!





Zoey was so good the whole trip- I felt bad because she wasn't able to get down and crawl at all the whole week


Daddy bought Zoey some maracas to play with- she loves them! Has played with them every day since he got them for her

Of course I had to go to H&M - I managed to go to 2 different ones on this trip. Mainly I was looking for a hat for Zoey so she wouldn't get sunburned

California day 1

This last week we went to California with Jeds family. We had a blast -
Day 1- DRIVING





Zoey was an angel for the whole drive. She cried for maybe 10 minutes the whole day. She watched a lot of movies


Walking from Excaliber where we had lunch to the M & M factory. Sydney and Boston hadn't been before so that was a must see


The drive was pretty uneventful other than getting separated from the rest of Jeds family in California and having to go rescue them because they were so lost. We stayed in a hotel right by Disneyland. It wasn't the nicest but the walk to the park was short so it was nice!

9 months old and MOBILE!

Zoey is so much fun and I am so grateful to be her mommy. She is learning new things every day and it is so fun to watch her grow.
Things about Zoey at 9 months:
- Started crawling on October 5, she gets into everything now!
- pulls herself up to standing easily now. If she stands up on something hard (like the coffee table) she gets too excited and head bangs the table. She has many battle wounds because of this habit. The coffee table is The enemy and must go!
- her second tooth on the bottom broke through yesterday
- she started dancing to the music on Rio the other day and it is hilarious! She pumps her hips and holds one finger up- she knows she is number one! She also rolled the dice once (think Hitch) and Jed and I busted up laughing
- mostly sleeps through the night now
- still sucks at naps
- started going to the Nanny and seems to love it. Mommy doesnt- i miss my bug! She has fun playing with her cousin Erica though and they will be good friends
-makes a growling/grunting noise- no idea where she learned this
-waves and tries to say bye bye - it sounds pretty close but she says buh buh
-loves to stand on her tippy toes
- moved into the big girl bathtub and loves it! She learned to splash and could sit in the tub for hours if I let her!
- loves her books and loves when I read to her. If I don't turn the page fast enough she pulls my hand to help me turn the page
