6 Month Pictures

6 months

A few things about Zoey at six months

-15 lbs 10 oz
- 26 inches long
- started solids- didnt go so well at first but now she loves being a big girl and eating off a spoon
- is teething- we can see a tooth coming through in the middle
- LOVED fireworks
- grabs things out of my hands to play with
-can sit up for a couple of seconds before toppling over
- can stand by herself if she is holding onto something
- says bah bah bah occasionally dah dah dah and once said woof woof like a dog
- cries when I leave the room and loves to be around people
-splashes in the tub and loves baths and swimming
-kicks her legs like she is trying to crawl when you set her on the floor
-rolls all over the place now

She is growing up so fast!

We took her to stadium of fire. It was really really hot but she did pretty good. She loved the fireworks! I tried to put earplugs in her tiny ears (above) but they kept falling out so we resorted to this:

She is so cute and Zoey loves her new cousin!

And my faithful car of 8 years hit the 100,000 mile mark!



It was a proud moment for me- except the last couple of months I have driven every single one of those miles :)

I went jogging with Elisse and after we were sitting talking and Zoey started eating her feet. I hope for her sake she stays this limber!

Zoey is 5 months old and growing so fast! She is the cutest baby with the most darling personality. At five months:

-we took her swimming and she LOVED it
-talking all the time. I think she is trying to tell me stories, too bad I can't understand them!
-smiles and laughs really hard
-peed on me for the first time (I know, how did I make it this long?!?)
- loves being outside and talking walks in her stroller as long as she can sit like a big girl looking around and not in her carseat
- can sit for a short time! She will sit for a minute and then just give up and fall over
- tried rice cereal for the first time unsuccessfully. I tried twice and now I just add some to her bottle in the morning and at night. We will try again in a few weeks
- sleeping a little better now that I give her a bottle and cereal before bed. Now only wakes up 2-3 times for her binkie and we can usually put off eating again until 6 or 7
- long and skinny . Still has chubby cheeks but everything else is skinny
- we think her eyes are going to stay blue but the right one has a brown stripe in it. We think it's cute :)
- wants my attention ALL the time. She has become a huge mamma's girl in the past few weeks and cries when I leave the room or don't pay attention to her. It's nice to be loved but very hard to get anything done!
-screams really really loud to get attention. Such a stinker! How do you teach a 5 month old that it isn't ok to scream?

She is just so fun and I love her so much!

Even though she couldn't swallow the rice cereal she loved eating off a spoon. She would follow it with her eyes and then snap towards it when it was closer. She wants to be a big girl!

So I FINALLY got around to downloading all my pictures from my camera (only because I had to... my memory card was full) So here all the pictures I wanted to post on my blog that I didn't the past 5 months. Whitney's Wedding

Jon and Whitney got married finally and Jed and I went to their reception at the hardware building downtown. The wedding was beautiful and Whitney and Jon looked so happy! She is a GORGEOUS bride!

This is gross, but Zoey has been having MAJOR blowouts at the WORST times ( not that there is ever a good time for blowouts) This specific one is at work. It has also happened at Benihana and it was EVERYWHERE. I had to change her on the bathroom floor because there was no counter or baby changing station and it got on my shirt too because I didn't notice until I took her out of her seat and held her against me. NOT FUN.

Zoey doesn't like sitting in the Bumbo still. In this picture she really wants the cough drops on the table next to the bumbo.

I shed a few proud Mommy tears through out the day. Jed gave Zoey a beautiful blessing. I am so grateful for an amazing Husband who honors his Priesthood and can bless my babies.Ready to go! She is a super happy baby in the morning. Always smiling and giggling at us.

Lauren's last performance as a Las Scelle. It will be really weird not watching her anymore. I'm not sure if I know anything else then going to competitions on a Saturday in December. Lauren- you are amazing! I have loved watching you and you make me a very proud sister. You are an amazing dancer and made me cry more than once. Love you!!!While we were cleaing up Elisse found a blast from OUR past! We did a prop dance when we were on drill with these. It was only the COOLEST dance you will ever see. I loved being on Drill with Elisse and it was a lot of fun to reminisce about the good old days

Aside from one minor melt down, Zoey did really well even though it was so loudProud parents with Lauren before the show started

Pictures of the girls and then the boys. NOT a good place to take a relatively young baby. It was SO loud and they did a birthday right next to our table and yelled really loud. Zoey was not happy.

WHEW! I told you that was a long post. If you made it through, congrats! I am so grateful for good friends and amazing family. These last 5 months with Zoey have been amazing and I can't wait for what the future brings!
