Bored at Work!!!

I am bored at work and found this on someone Else's blog so I thought it would be fun. Classic X if you have O if you haven't ( I decided to elaborate so that it is a little more interesting than just yes and no:) It's long, but I challenge ALL of you to do it :) I'd love to read your answers :)

(X) Been to Canada- I went to Edmonton with my mom and 3 of my sisters and grandma (I was 12) to see all of my grandmas brothers. We went to the worlds biggest mall and it was an awesome trip!
(X) Been to Mexico- Jed and I went to Cabo San Lucas for our Honeymoon last year. It was a blast!
(X) Been to Florida- I have been to Florida 3 times for Nationals with the Drill team. 2 Years to Disney World and 1 Year we went to Universal Studios and Sea World... those were some of the funnest trips with Elisse, Friends and my parents!
(X) Been to Hawaii- I went to Oahu for 2 weeks for my senior trip. Hawaii was BEAUTIFUL and I loved being there, but I went with 3 girls that I didn't know very well. BAD IDEA. By the end of the 2 weeks there was so much fighting we were all just so happy to go home. I have seen two of them since then (at school and Laurens Drill competitions) but I still haven't every talked to one of them since we walked off the plane
(X) Gone on a blind date- Thank heavens I did! I met my Husband on a Blind Date :)
(X) Skipped school- I almost didn't graduate high school because I skipped school so much my Junior and Senior year :) ALMOST being the key word
(X) Watched someone die- I used to work at a nursing home and I watch a woman die of Cancer. I had to do all her Postmortem care... it was horrible
(X) Been on a plane- Most recently to California last week (see pictures below)
(O) Been on a helicopter- I don't know if I care to ever go in one
(X) Been lost- I got lost at Lagoon when I was 6. It was terrifying
(X) Been an extra in a film - I was an extra in the TV show Everwood that was filmed here. I was also an extra in I know what you did last summer 3 (or 4) I can't remember. It went straight to video
(O) Been to a TV show taping- do they still do that? Ellen or Oprah would be fun to go to... you get free stuff :)
(O) Visited Washington, DC-One day maybe
(O) Traveled by San Francisco trolley- This would be fun though
(X) Traveled to Europe- I went to Sweden and England when I was 12. It was so awesome to go see all my dad's family in Sweden (And they could all say my name right! Yay!) and England was amazing too. I want to go back now that I am older
(O) Traveled to Asia- One day I'd love to go to the great wall of China
(O) Went to the top of the World Trade Center -I'm sad I never got the chance
(O) Been to Jamaica-Maybe I'll go there in a couple of months for our Anniversary
(X) Swam in the ocean- I have swam in the ocean a few times. We went on a snorkeling adventure in Mexico and it was not a good experience for me. I was sea sick on the boat, and when we got to the snorkeling area, I jumped in and the water was FREEZING! It was the coldest water I had ever been in (even colder than Bear Lake that one time it was raining...if you remember that Sara and Elisse) Jed loved it though. He would live in the ocean if he could I think. He loved looking at all the fish and swimming around. My Husband the fish :)
(X) Cried yourself to sleep- more than once
(X) Played cops and robbers- When I was four in our old house. We'd also put on lipstick and chase the boys around trying to kiss them... ah the good old days :)
(O) Recently colored with crayons- What is the definition of Recent? I colored with Bradley a couple of months ago
(X) Skipped a final exam- Yup... it was very stupid and I try to forget how dumb I was
(X) Sang Karaoke- I sang it at a friends birthday party in 7th grade... I don't think I have since then
(O) Watched the birth of a child- I almost saw Gavin's birth, but I didn't go... would have missed it anyway... I guess I'll just look in a mirror when I have my own... gross... :)
(X) Paid for a meal with coins only- I specifically remember doing this at the Movie Theater
(O) Been to the top of the St. Louis Arch -St. Louis is probably a city I won't ever visit
(X) Done something you told yourself you wouldn't-who hasn't? I have done many things I told my self I wouldn't do. Like let my brother in law Travis convince me to go on the Rocket at the top of the Stratosphere in Vegas... not a good idea for someone who is afraid of heights
(X) Made prank phone calls- My old friend Claire and I used to do this to entertain ourselves in Elementary School
(O) Been down Bourbon Street in New Orleans
(X) Laughed until some kind of beverage came out of your nose-This is a story that I am not proud of. I don't think you need details, but all I have to say is I haven't been to UP-Chuck-a-rama since that dreadfully humiliating day
(X) Caught a snowflake on your tongue
(X) Danced in the rain -I love warm rain!
(X) Written a letter to Santa Claus-again... who hasn't?!?
(X) Been kissed under the mistletoe-
(X) Watched the sunrise with someone- A couple of friends of mine and I watched the sun rise from suncrest the morning after High school Graduation

(X) Gone to the movies in 2009- I love Movies!!!
(O) Been deep sea fishing- this doesn't appeal to me at all
(O) Driven across the United States- Neither does this
(O) Been in a hot air balloon
(O) Been sky diving
(X) Gone snowmobiling- Fun, but you stink after
(O) Lived in more than one country
(X) Lay down outside at night and admired the stars while listening to the crickets
(X) Seen a falling star and made a wish
(X) Seen the Old Faithful Geyser- We used to go to Yellowstone all the time as kids
(O) Seen the Statue of Liberty- one day I will make it to New York
(O) Gone to the top of Seattle Space Needle
(O) Been on a cruise-Hoping to go for our Anniversary though!
(O) Traveled by train - Does the Subway count?
(X) Traveled by motorcycle - I dated someone who had one.. it was loud but fun
(X) Been horse back riding- I LOVE IT! So much fun. If you haven't done it, do it!
(O) Been to Disneyland, Disney World, and Japan's Disneyland - 2 out of 3.... not bad :)
(X) Been pulled over by a police officer -I have been pulled over twice. Once was in Mexico.... that was scary... but luckily nothing became of it.
(X) Gotten a ticket- I was a couple days past 16... He was mean.
(X) Truly believe in the power of prayer

(O) Been to Niagara Falls It would be so cool to go though!

(X) Been to the Olympics- I got to go to the Opening Ceremonies and a bunch of Award Ceremonies for the SLC Olympics... thanks Dad!

(O) Saw a glacier- I don't like being cold... so I doubt this will ever happen

(X) Been water-skiing- Wakeboarding.... water skiing... its all the same
(X) Been snow-skiing- Love Skiing... Snowboarding is hard on the thigh muscles
(O) Been to Westminster Abbey One day I hope to go there
(O) Been to the Louvre I LOVE art history and would love to go here one day too.. (I'm jealous Elisse!!!)

(O) Been to a Major League Baseball game- I think I might have a Red Sox game in my future though :)
(O) Been to a National Football League game- This would be fun, but I don't love any NFL teams enough to fork out the money

California!!!

So I made it back from Sunny (at times) California! It was so much fun and I really want to go back soon. Lauren, my mom and I had a BLAST! We got there on Friday night late so we just checked into the hotel. The next day we went to a local high school (it was a private school and it was soooooo nice!) for the drill competition and it was so cold! They wouldn't let us eat in the gym, so we had to sit outside in the freezing wind. We were there from 8 in the morning until 11 at night just sitting on the hard bleachers.... but we had a lot of fun talking to the other moms there :) After that day, we got to go to Disneyland and California Adventure for the next two days. Lauren and I took turns taking pictures, so I don't have them all, but I couldn't help posting a bunch of pictures! On Tuesday, we went to Universal Studios which was also a lot of fun. I have so many fun stories and I had a lot of fun with all the girls and moms (and a few dads that came on the trip) I missed my cute hubby, but maybe he can go with me next year :) Jurassic Park with Katie, LeAundra, Lauren and meDoc from Back to the Future (I think he thought the girls were cute because he followed us around for a good twenty minutes)We didn't have our cute hubbies with us, so we got the next best thing :)This is the tram ride through Universal... it was so fun! We got to see Wisteria Lane (from Desperate Housewives) I wanted to see the cast but they were filming on a sound stage that dayLaurens first ride at Disneyland EVER and one of my absolute favorites... Indiana JonesOur hotel room before our first day at the parkSplash Mountain my FAVORITE ride of all time. I just love itGina (one of the moms) my mom, me and LeAundra. The other girls were on the teacups... which I opted out of

Lauren and I after her competition. They did well, and I was proud of her. She had a lot of fun and that is all that matters :)

I loved my trip and I hope that I will be able to go back soon... or hopefully I will get an invite to go next year :)

Jazz Game and Brian Kehl

Last friday we went to the Jazz game (Jazz vs. Nuggets) and it was a blast! We got the tickets for free from our contact at the NBA that we work with. My dad, mom, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Jed and I all got to go. We went to Ze Teja before the game at the gateway and it was fun to just sit around and talk (the food wasn't my favorite) The game was awesome (they came back from being down 19 points to win!!) and Lauren, Kaitlyn, Jed and I got on the Jumbo Tron 3 or 4 times. We also saw Brian Kehl (former BYU Football player) and he gave me a high five! It was a great night and I hope we get to do it again soon! I'm going to california and Disneyland with my mom and Lauren for her Nation Drill competition this weekend so I'm sure I'll have lots of fun pictures to post when I get back :)

I didn't get a picture with him because he was walking up the stairs and I thought that would be too stalker ish... so here is Brian Kehl for those of you who don't know

Favorite Music

So nothing much has been going on lately in my life that is blog worthy, so I have decided to tell you about my favorite music at the moment. I sit at work in a quiet office mostly by myself all day, so I listen to blog music(mine or yours depending on how sick of mine I am). I just added a bunch of my favorite songs right now to my blog, so if you are bored and want some good music you know where to go! Some of it is calm, some is hip hop, some is alternative. These songs are either fun to sing to, I've learned a dance to them recently, or they just make me smile or dance in the car. Hopefully I'll have some interesting things to post about soon, but in the mean time, check out the music!

Sexy KYLE KORVER!!!

Jed and I went to Erin's dance performance at the Jazz game tonight and it was a lot of fun! We sat next to Terra, Clint, Denise and Shaun in the nose bleeds but we had a blast! It was an AWESOME game and my money man was back and on FIRE!!!! He scored a career high 43 points and I was so excited! The most exciting thing however was that we got to meet Kyle Korver after! He is sooooo dreamy...... The most embarrassing thing was that I only had an Okur jersey, so I had Kyle sign it! He was really nice about it though. I told him I was sorry I didn't have his jersey and he said, its ok he had a great night tonight. Such a cutie! Im such a dork! Me and the sexy Kyle

Sara's Christmas Post

Here is the second of two tags... This Christmas one is from Sara and the one below about the picture is from Elisse... I don't usually do these but since I am a "self proclaimed chrismas-aholic now, I guess I better do it! :)

Christmassy Tag!

Welcome to the Christmas edition of getting to know your friends. Okay, here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be a SCROOGE!!! Change all the answers so that they apply to you. And tag a few friends to spread the Christmas joy!
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping Paper! I love to wrap presents and see how many different ways I can do the ribbon and bows
2. Real tree or Artificial? I wanted an artificial tree, but Jed was determined to have a real one. It is already dying, but at least its pretty still.
3. When do you put up the tree? I wanted to do it back in November, but Jed made me wait until the first week of December.
4. When do you take the tree down? I don't know... I've never had a Christmas Tree before so I guess I'll find out this year. Since mine is already dying, probably right after new years If I can make it last that long
5. Do you like eggnog? Eww... NO
6. Favorite gift received as a child? I don't even know... My parents have always gotten us really fun gifts so there are too many to choose from
7. Hardest person to buy for? Dad's are hardest. Mine and Jed's!
8. Easiest person to buy for? Kids in General.. and my nieces and nephews. My sisters are pretty easy too
9. Do you have a nativity scene? No, but Joanne just gave us this gorgeous figurine of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus made out of wood. Its really pretty! Thanks Jo!!! :)
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Neither yet... maybe once we have kids I'll get on the Christmas letter train
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I second Sara's notion on the weird socks because I got the same ones.... however I will admit to wearing mine all winter long a few years! Now I'm married and that would just be embarrassing...:)
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Elf DEFINITELY! Jed and I watched it when we put up our tree...
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? This year I started in November. Usually I'm a last minute shopper though... thankfully this year I'm almost done!
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? I know I haven't, but my sister gave me a sweater once for Christmas that I gave her for her birthday without remembering... that was funny
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Sara's answer is my answer Our Swedish Christmas Eve dinner. FarMor (my swedish grandma) used to make it for us, and when she passed away, my mom took over and we all help now (We have Swedish Meatballs, Mashed Potatoes, usually ham but this year we are having turkey, jello, and my FAVORITE cut up dill pickles. Sara and I have a very funny picture of me eating a pickle... we usually need 2 jars because we eat the first one while we are cutting them up) Then on christmas morning we have a very yummy brunch - this really delicious fruit mix (it's a frozen fruit thing my mom makes, defrosted with 7-up, sliced bananas, and some fresh fruit), muffins, eggs, bacon, etc. I just love Christmas!!
16. Lights on the tree? Of course!!
17. Favorite Christmas song? Im not usually a fan of christmas music except the day of, but I love anything Josh Groban... and my favorite christmas song right now is Believe by Josh Groban (its on the polar express)
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Stay at home. That's what Christmas is!!
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? YES! Everyone knows the song...
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Neither yet... I'm working on that
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Sara's Answer- When FarMor was alive, we used to open all the presents from them on Christmas Eve (the presents from Tomten the Swedish Santa). But now we just open one present, usually jammies on Christmas Eve. And the rest are Christmas morning.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Bad traffic, angry shoppers, lines... and weight gain!
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? My tree is Red and Silver... all my presents under the tree are silver and blue... with a little red and gold mixed in
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? We don't really do Christmas dinner, since we have such a big Christmas Eve dinner and brunch in the morning.
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? Uh... nothing... I asked Santa for Clinique Happy Heart Perfume... We'll see if Santa remembers ;)

Elisse's Tag

Well.... I hate Tags... but I have been tagged twice... so here is the one from Elisse... I'm supposed to post the 4th picture in my 4th album.... I was going to do this on my home computer, but my internet isn't working (actually one of our neighbors internet that we occasionally borrow isn't working) so it'll be interesting for all of us to find out what picture that is on my work computer...


This is one of my best friends Emily and her Fiance Jason... I have a photography and Videography company with another one of my best friends and this is one of their engagement pictures. I have a lot of fun doing weddings and taking pictures of such happy and cute couples!
