Update

So I am really terrible at updating... but there isn't a lot going on with us and I haven't been taking pictures... and we all know a blog post is no good without pictures! So a couple things we have been up to.... At Chuck E. Cheese for Boston's Potty Party... I haven't been there since I turned 6, but it ended up being really fun! Who knew arcade games could be such a blast? Thanks Boston (and Aim) for the invite!

This last weekend was conference weekend. My family went up to Park City to stay at a Condo for the night so Lauren and I drove up and ate dinner and did some shopping with them. One of our favorites... Main Street Pizza and Noodle
The girls who were there outside on Main Street. Kaitlyn already left when we took this and we missed Elisse! She had her Grad show and wasn't able to come up when I was there. Jed stayed home to go to conference with his Dad so It was fun for me to go spend some time with the girls.

Word to the wise... if you are ever pregnant and huge, DO NOT stand next to Lauren in any picture! :)

Baby Update: Everything is going well. As you can see from above I finally started showing (more like WHOA where did that belly come from?!?) and everything looks good with our little girl. She is growing right on schedule and everything has been really smooth so far. I hope it stays that way! Jed and I are both really anxious and excited for January when we will get to meet her! Now if only the next 3 months would just fly by......

Whoa Baby!

So I guess things aren't official in life until you either facebook about them or blog ... so here is my blog post to make it official! Jed and I are so excited because we are having a baby GIRL in January. We are so happy that after some time trying that we are going to have a new addition to our family. We went to Fetal Fotos 3 weeks ago because for any of you that know me, I am NOT a patient person. So I just HAD to find out what we were having. The last couple of weeks Jed and I both thought it was a girl, but we just needed the proof. She was being such a stinker and would not show us her "parts" (a true lady:) and the umbilical cord was right between her legs making it impossible to tell.. but after 45 minutes and a lot of moving around trying to get her to move she finally showed us that she was indeed a girl. It was so cool to see her moving around in there. She was punching and kicking and doing somersaults. It was so fun to watch! I am so glad that Jed suggested we go to Fetal Fotos because we got a lot of pictures and a really cool video of her moving around. We go next week for our 20 week ultrasound so I'm excited to get another good look at her!!!

Summer Update

A lot has been going on with us this summer, but I never seem to take pictures of any of it and we all know a blog post is nothing without pictures! Of course I uploaded these backwards so we will start from most recent... I was inspired by my friend Emily and attempted some gourmet cupcakes. They were delicious! They were chocolate caramel with a chocolate mousse filling and vanilla frosting. Delicious! Jed's Dad was called as Bishop in his ward yesterday so I made these for the large family get together after.

Gavaroonie got glasses (he is 18 months old.. this is Sara's little boy) and I think he is adorable! We were at McDonalds when I took this and he had his arms folded because he wanted to pray. SO CUTE!

We sold Jed's truck :( but we got a new Inifinity Crossover that we love already! I forgot to get a picture of the new car, but I'll try to get that on the next post. We will miss the truck though... Jed asked me to marry him in this truck so we have lots of fond memories of it.

July 20th was my 23rd birthday. I had a delicious meal at my moms house of my favorite Curry Chicken. It was soooo good! Elisse made me some gourmet chocolate cupcakes. They were soooo yummy!
This lighting makes us look sickly... I promise we weren't sick. Thank you family for the fun birthday!
Jed took me to Benihana for dinner a different night and that was a blast too! I love Benihana!
Other things that have happened this summer that I don't have pictures of: Stucki family reunion at a Haunted old school house in Idaho... I am sad I didn't get pictures but this will definitely be a family memory none of us will forget
Cherry Hill family reunion with Jed's family- This year was a lot of fun like always! But my first year of a downpour (not fun! but so glad I was sleeping in a trailer and NOT a tent)
Miles For Michael 5K- Jed and I participated in a 5K at sugar house park with my sister in law Annies family to raise organ donation awareness. Her brother Michael needs a Liver transplant and we were honored to be on their team running in honor of Michael and his late brother Tyler. If you aren't a donor, please go sign up!
So that's our summer so far..... Hope everyone is having a great summer!

2 Years!

I can't believe that it has already been 2 Years since I married my best friend! I Love you so much Jed!!!
A few pictures from the best day of my life

I would have LOVED to go somewhere exotic again (we went on a cruise to the Caribbean for our first anniversary) but since we have an AMAZING trip coming up in July, we decided to go to Park City for the weekend .
We stayed at this BEAUTIFUL hotel:

Its the Waldorf Astoria in Park City and it was so nice! They even opened our doors to our cars! So fancy. We didn't want to spend too much on dinner so we went to Main Street Pizza and Noodle... if you haven't been there, GO! It is soo yummy :) then on Saturday we went to the outlets and did a little shopping. It was a laid back weekend, but it was really nice to get away from everything and have time together just the two of us. I love you Jed! Happy Anniversary!

13.1

I can't believe that I FINALLY accomplished something really hard that I said I was going to do! I've always been the queen of big promises but no follow through. I made the goal to lose weight ... hasn't happened... I made the goal to go back to school and graduate... hasn't happened... and the list goes on and on. But I FINALLY finished something that I said I was going to do. I finished a HALF MARATHON!! That is 13.1 miles. The distance from my house (by the Oquirrh Temple) to the AIRPORT if you can't invision how far 13 miles really is. Nuts, right? Well, I have an amazing Mother and an amazing Sister and and an amazing Aunt that all kept me motivated to finish. My mom and I ran together every Saturday for the last 2 months and we were really nervous about this race. The farthest we had gone before the race was 8 miles and I had to walk a bunch of it (my mom is a MACHINE and totally kicked butt-- she ran most of the 8 miles while I walked. I am so pathetic!) Needless to say, I was terrified that night before and couldn't sleep at all. Finally the morning of the race was here and I'm going to pee my pants I am so nervous. We get to the starting line (legacy bridge on the University of Utah's campus) and are surrounded with all this energy and thousands of people waiting to race. It was such an amazing feeling to be there and about to do something that difficult. We started running (Annie took off being the little bunny that she is) and my mom and DiAnne and I kept a good pace. We stopped at the first bathroom break (big mistake.. we stood in line for 15-20 minutes. Ridiculous!!) and then kept running. I was feeling pretty good until about mile 7. We had run pretty much the whole way up to here and all of a sudden my hip flexor and my knee started hurting so bad I couldn't even walk with out intense pain. It wasn't the "You're running a half marathon, of course your body is going to hurt" type pain, it was the "I feel like I've been hit in my knee cap with a sledgehammer and something is seriously wrong pain". I've never felt pain like that. Luckily I had my amazing mom and Aunt to drag me along the trail. I never once thought about quitting, but around mile 11 when I had tears streaming down my face I wondered if I would be physically capable of finishing... and all of a sudden my Husband came to the rescue and started running with me (in his flip flops). He is my hero... without him doing that I probably would have died on the side of the road. With my amazing Hubby by my side, I was able to run the last mile down South Temple and sprint to the finish and accomplish my goal of running 13.1 miles! It was such an amazing feeling to have all those people screaming for me and cheering as I crossed the finish (even though I was bawling like a baby at this point... I probably looked so pathetic :) But I did it!! And I couldn't be more proud of myself and my mom for doing this together. Nothing felt better than the group hug that Annie, my mom , DiAnne and I shared after crossing the finish line. I love those women so much! I finished the race in 3 hours 8 minutes so my next goal is to finish in under 3 hours (which I think we finished this one around the 2 hour 50 minute mark because of our bathroom waiting line, but I'm going by official chip time) Once I figure out my Knee issue, It'll be back to the training to do it all over again! DiAnne, my Mom, Annie and Me at the finish line. Thank you so much for pushing me and for doing this with me! Without these ladies I never would have been able to do this! I Love you all so much!

Florida 2010

This year I got to go to Florida for Lauren's Nation Drill Competition with my Mom and Elisse. It was so much fun! There was TONS of drama, but all in all it was a really fun trip! Lauren's team won FIRST PLACE and I am so proud of them! National Champs Baby!!!! I have tons of pictures from the trip and they aren't really in order but I will do my best to explain them :) I need to get all the pictures off of Elisse's and Lauren's cameras too
Elisse, Me and Lauren at Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney. We went here for dinner after our first day in the park... Yum! I told my mom to hold her hood on her head to not get wet on Splash Mountain (my FAVORITE ride) but she didn't listen so she got a face full of water
Sunday... Lauren, Hatch and I hung out with Trista and Angie (Laurens coaches). I didn't know them at all before the trip, but this ended up being one of the funnest days! We had a blast with them and It was so fun to get to know them better. My mom and Elisse did Epcot this whole day, so I didn't see much of them Pirates of the Caribbean.. Classic! Big Thunder Mountain.. I didn't do this one in Disneyland Last year, so it was fun to do it again after so many years!
Mom, Elisse and Me at Animal Kingdom. This is one of my NEW favorites! It was such a blast! The best rollercoaster is in this park and we went on a Safari that was so cool! We got to see Lions and Elephants and all the African animals you can think of!

Saturday was the competition... this is my little Sis front and center! I'm so proud of her!
Me and Lauren during the day... that boy over her shoulder is her future Husband... he heard that we were from Alta and he knows a missionary in Texas that went to Alta! Small world! He is going on a mission in April to California so I gave him all of Laurens info and told him to write her :) I am such a good match maker! After the announcement that Alta was the 2010 National Champs!
Look at all those trophies!!! They took home 12! I was SO PROUD! Proud Mama's!

Me Elisse and Lauren waiting for Rockin Roller Coaster.. another one of my favs! My cousin Jen and her Husband were in Florida at the same time and we were lucky enough that we were in the same park at the same time! This is us in front of Tower of Terror... we got to go on it together and it was so fun to see them! I wish we could have spent more time together, but the little bit of time we did spend together was a BLAST! Love you guys!Me and Lauren at Hollywood Studios
I convinced Lauren to go on Kali River Rapids with me.. and she got soaked! Her shirt was white and totally see through!!! It was so much fun though and luckily it was a nice and warm day! (The nights were FREEZING and sometimes I wore two jackets and It still wasn't enough!) The last day of the trip... we all were matching... not planned! So we had to take a picture
We ended out the trip at Islands of Adventure but somehow I didn't get any pics... we must have been too busy trying to get from ride to ride before we went to the airport. But it was so fun to see Harry Potter Land.. it wasn't open but we were able to see Hogwarts castle and Diagon Alley... I can't wait to go back in July to see the finished product!
It was such a fun trip and I am so glad that I got to go! Thanks Mom for taking me with you! It was a blast!!!!
